Careers grow differently here

We believe people do their best work when they’re supported to grow.

At Venn, learning and development are built into everyday work. As the company grows, people are given opportunities to build new skills, take on greater responsibility, and develop their careers in a way that reflects their strengths and ambitions.

You’ll work alongside experienced teammates, receive regular feedback, and have access to the support you need to develop with confidence. We value progress, curiosity, and continuous improvement, and we create an environment where people can grow in a way that feels supported and sustainable.

How learning works at Venn

Development at Venn isn’t one programme or a single pathway. It happens through experience, ownership, and support over time.

You’ll learn by contributing to real projects, collaborating across teams, and building skills in context, not in isolation. Alongside this, you’ll receive guidance, feedback, and the space to develop at a pace that’s right for you.

This reflects how we work as a company. We trust people to take ownership, support each other openly, and create an environment where growth is part of everyday work.

Growth at Venn in practice

We believe growth should be open, supported, and based on people’s strengths and interests. That means treating people like adults, trusting them with responsibility, and supporting them to develop in directions that reflect what they enjoy and where they add the most value.

The Support That Fuels Your Growth

Our investment in your development goes beyond training courses. We provide a network of resources, people, and tools to make sure you succeed in your role and beyond.

An apprenticeship here gives you a mix of structured learning and real experience across the business. We work with external training providers to support the qualification side, while you spend your time getting involved in day-to-day work with your team.

You might start in one area, but you’ll quickly get exposure to how different parts of the business operate. Whether that’s content, strategy, growth, design, or development, the aim is to help you build a well-rounded skillset and figure out what you enjoy and where you’re strongest.

By the time you finish, you won’t just have a qualification. You’ll have genuine experience and a clear next step.

You’ve finished your degree and you’re ready to get properly stuck in. That’s exactly what this is.

You’ll join the business in a real role from the start, contributing to live work and learning as you go. There’s room to move as you develop, so you’re not locked into one path if your interests or strengths shift over time.

You’ll pick things up quickly by working closely with people across different teams, asking questions, getting feedback, and gradually taking on more responsibility. It’s less about following a fixed path and more about building your own, with the support to do it well.

As you grow in your role, there’s a natural point where you start thinking about managing others. We don’t expect you to just figure that out on your own.

You’ll get support as you step into management, from guidance on handling day-to-day team dynamics to understanding how to get the best out of different people. It’s practical, ongoing, and shaped around real situations you’re dealing with, not just theory.

The focus is on helping you become a manager who’s confident, fair, and capable, not just someone with a new job title.

There isn’t one fixed route into leadership here, but there is a clear path if that’s where you want to go. Many people start in roles like content, strategy, growth, design, or development and gradually take on more responsibility as they build experience.

As that happens, you’ll be supported to develop the skills that matter at that level. Things like decision-making, mentoring others, and shaping the direction of work rather than just delivering it.

It’s a steady progression where you’re trusted with more as you’re ready, with the backing to make sure you can actually step up and do it well.

Shaping your own path

There’s no single definition of career progression at Venn.

Some people deepen their expertise in their current area. Others move across teams or into entirely new disciplines. What matters is finding where your skills are most valuable and where you’re most motivated to grow.

We support people to explore, develop, and build careers that evolve over time, not stay fixed.

Because when people grow, Venn grows with them.
